Meet Our Seniors!

Emma Aubuchon, Captain

Emma has been on SME Cheer for four years, three of which were on Varsity. She served as Captain her senior year. She also participated in six years of NCL. Emma will attend the University of Kansas in the fall to pursue a degree in marketing.

Annabelle Covell, Captain

Annabelle has been on SME Cheer for four years, three of which as a Varsity member. Annabelle is involved in Student Store, DECA, SHARE, NHS and is a Pep Exec. Annabelle is headed to the University of Arkansas. Her major is undecided.

Ava Smith, Captain

Ava has been on Cheer for four years and served as a Cheer Captain for the past two years. She is also involved in DECA, SHARE and NHS. She plans to attend University of Kansas next year where she will major in business.

Lucy Pace, Game Day Captain

Lucy cheered all four years at SME, three of which were on Varsity. She was a Game Day Captain her senior year. Lucy is a nationally ranked debater and will compete at Nationals this spring. Next year, Lucy will attend the University of Kansas Honors Program, majoring in political science and Spanish. She will also join KU Debate.

Eve Tollefson, Competition Captain

Eve has been on SME Cheer for four years and loved being a Game Day Captain on Varsity her senior year. Along with cheer, she participates in SME Student Store, DECA and is a member of NHS. Eve will attend University of Kansas in the fall where she will study business with an emphasis in marketing.

Zoe Chaney

Zoe has been on SME Cheer for three years as a “flyer” in both Game Day and Competition Cheer. She is a four-year Varsity gymnast, participates in Signature Science at the CAA and is a cadet teacher. Zoe will attend Kansas State University in the fall. She plans to study kinesiology and earn a master’s in occupational therapy.

Ashley Freund

Ashley has been on SME Cheer for four years. She is involved in DECA, Senior Ads Editor, Co-captain of Gymnastics, Assistant Editor of Hauberk, Student Store, SHARE and NHS. Ashley is going to the University of Kansas and will major in marketing with a minor in professional selling.

Francie Garrison

Francie has been on SME Cheer for four years, two of which were Varsity. Outside of cheer, Francie is a SHARE Exec and Head Editor of the Hauberk. She also participates in Varsity Swim, DECA, Student Store, NHS and Link Crew. Francie is unsure of where she will go to college but plans to major in business/marketing with a minor in nutrition.

Addi O'Roark

Addi has been on SME Cheer for four years. She is also a member of the Jazz Band, Symphonic Band and participates in Pole Vaulting for Track & Field. Addi will attend the University of Nebraska and plans to major in equine science.

Evie Ordonez

Evie has been on SME Cheer for four years. She participates in Student Store, DECA, Link Crew and absolutely loves all the art classes she has been able to take SME. Evie is excited to head to Lawrence in the fall to attend University of Kansas where she will study business and visual arts.

Leila Zotinca

Leila has been on SME Cheer for four years. She was also a member of SME Vollyball for two years. Leila will attend University of Missouri in the fall where she will study nursing.
