Laura Buckman is the Head Varsity Coach as well as the Competition Team Coach. Coaching cheerleading for 15 years, at three different schools, she most recently served as the Program Director for SME Cheer.  A Spanish teacher at SME, she absolutely loves all things cheerleading. Go Lancers!

Beth Marsden

A former cheerleader at SMNW, Jacy Williams is our new JV cheer coach.  Recently graduated from Baker University, where she cheered for four years and studied elementary education, she brings a wealth of knowledge to the team.  She has served as a staffer for the National Cheerleaders Association and will begin her teaching career at Tomahawk Elementary.  She can’t wait for what this year has in store, go Lancers! 

As a former SME cheerleader, Carolyn proudly serves as our Freshman cheer coach.  Cheering for all four years at East, she served as captain her sophomore year, was on the competition team, and was on Varsity for two years. Carolyn has been an early elementary teacher for nine years and a coach for four years. She enjoys coaching the sport she truly loves. It's always a great day to be a Lancer!
